Just a pretty palace, not that amazing, there is a tower you can climb there. You can get tickets for some of the rooms. Tickets cost $22

Cool to see. No pictures allowed. Not really sure how to describe it but territory separate from the EU and people selling weed everywhere. “Green light district”

Actually pronounced new-haun. It is the pretty street everyone instas with the canal and the houses that are colorful. The best photo op here is on the bridge with the locks.

MUST DO OMG. It is a company and you rent a boat for however long you want and just cruise through the Cope canals. You can bring wine and cheese and grapes.
GoBoat offers unique overall experiences and unforgettable memories in safe and comfortable surroundings. There is room for 8 people in each boat - safety vests are included. The boats sail approx. 3-4 knots (5-7 km/h) with a picnic table in the middle.

Great to spend a few hours here with friends enjoying good food right on the water. Very cool experience. They are also affiliated with GoBoat if you want to get food here to bring on your boat trip!

Open air swimming right in the centre of the city. You can even dive in from the tower for a thrill.

How To Navigate
DIS has multiple buildings where classes are held. These buildings are fairly spread out but also all within walking distance of each other
In between classes you have about 20 minutes which goes by fast especially if you have to go change buildings

A great feature about living in Copenhagen through DIS is that you do not have to suffer through hassle of getting a Visa before you arrive. However, we prepared to sacrifice a weekend in the beginning to deal with your Visa through DIS. Good news is they make it super easy and everyone is the same weekend!

Through whatever core class you apply into you will travel with DIS to various locations. The trip is paid for entirely by DIS. You can choose week 1 or week 2. If you are there with friends make sure you choose the same week otherwise you will have two weekends when you cannot travel together. When you apply into DIS look at the syllabus of your core class and it will say where you are going and which week!
