Things To Know About Iceland
1. It is extremely expensive despite being fairly inexpensive to get to Iceland.
2. Many suggest renting a car and doing a majority of the touring yourself. If you do this, you may choose to stay in Vik or one of the other small towns along the way.
3. If you drive yourself you can pretty much follow the Day 1 tour.
4. We put the Northern Lights tour on Day 1 because if you do not see them (fairly common), most tour companies will allow you to try again the next night free of charge.
5. You should really try to stay in the city center. It is where all your tours meet for pickup and much easier to walk.
